Giorgio Morandi (1890–1964) was an Italian painter and printmaker who specialised in still life. His paintings are noted for their tonal subtlety in depicting simple subjects, mainly vases, bottles, bowls, flowers and landscapes.
This excellent quality print of 'Natura Morta (Still Life)' originally painted in 1960, is a great example of his style. Itself around 20 years old this framed print is virtually immaculate and has stood the test of time, much like the classic subjects Morandi was so fond of painting.
Circa 1990's framed print (ready to hang).
