This dramatic, colourful artwork was used to create the base for the screenprint we also have available. Celebrating three important elements of life - dance, drama and music - this colour artwork from 1977, designed by the late British artist John Leech for the Sydenham School Music Festival would make a perfect present.
Literally lifted straight from the artists drawing board, it still has the art tape around each edge (as shown in image 4) - this would look magnificent in a simple black or coloured frame.
Leech studied at the Royal College of Art 1950-1953, and has exhibited at the Royal Academy, R.B.A. Mall Gallery, St Martins Gallery and the Leicester Gallery amongst others. Tunbridge Wells Museum (his hometown) holds examples of his work.
